A Treasure Hunt – Part Two

If you accept my words and store up my commands within you...if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. –Proverbs 2:1-5 NIV

Jesus is the key to unlocking the treasure chest of God’s Word. As you turn your life over to Him, the Holy Spirit takes your head knowledge of God’s Word and begins to deposit and bury it within your heart. The Word is active, powerful, and filled with life-giving treasures God wants you to receive. Why? Because it has the power to transform you from the inside out. The Word brings comfort in times of despair. Scripture offers hope, healing, forgiveness, and restoration. It is filled with truth that sets people free from death, sin, and bondage. No amount of money, no earthly trinkets, and no prized possession can give you what only God and His Word offer. What are you waiting for? Start digging deeply into your Bible and uncover and discover all the hidden gems God desires to reveal to you personally.Seek to get to know Him more fully, search and claim His promises for your life, and pray for greater revelation and knowledge of what He wants of you. Ask for godly wisdom and insight into the deeper things He wants to unveil and for the abiding help of His Spirit to accept and apply such greater revelation. Searching for heavenly gems tucked inside of God’s word is an endless treasure hunt.
