Come and Receive

Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need. –Hebrews 4:16 NASB

Is uncertainty clouding your way? Are answers alluding you? Is fear overwhelming your thoughts and shackling your steps? Is guilt, shame, hurt, bitterness, anger, or rejection gripping your emotions? The Lord invites you to come to Him. He is saying, “Dear Child of Mine, come to My throne. Move in close. I’m seated on grace. I’m full of mercy. Favor, gifts, blessings, and joy are here for you.Power, ability, wisdom, and authority—everything you need—is here. I am gentle, kind, forgiving, and full of compassion. I know you. I love you. I understand what you’ve experienced. I see your circumstances. Allow Me to help.” So, how do you get to this place? Jesus gave instructions in John 14:6 (NIV), “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”Access is granted by faith in the blood of Jesus. Receive His sacrifice. Take His life. Give Him yours. He is truth—you need only to believe. He has provided and paid for everything you need. Admission is free. Approach with courage. Enter with confidence. When? Come now. He’s waiting for you. Come and receive.
