Come, See Your Deliverance

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” –Exodus 14:13-14 NIV

The biblical account of the exodus of the people of Israel from Egypt is incredible. The people of Israel suffered at the hands of the Egyptians and were held in captivity for 400 years. The Lord God saved His people and brought them out of captivity in a miraculous way. That same God is here today to deliver you with His mighty power. What storm is brewing in your life right now? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are you at your wits end? Are you feeling desperate? Are you feeling trapped and think there is no way out? The people of Israel surely felt this way, but God heard the cry of His people. In the same manner, God hears your cry. Do not despair! Do not give up—the God who conquers, your Jehovah Nissi, will deliver you from whatever storm you are facing. Do not be afraid! Stand firm on the Rock—He will meet your every need. Be still! He will fight for you. The Lord God is mightier than the stormy waves you’re facing at this very moment. Rejoice and be confident. He will deliver you!
