But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. Fight for Your Family

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. –Joshua 24:15 NIV

Every family encounters conflict at some point. So why is it that some make it through while others seem to crumble? We constantly see the enemy’s attacks on the family. Marital strife, divorce, busyness, and stress are just some of the ways the enemy can try to cause God’s plans for your family to derail. However, regardless of the attacks the enemy may attempt, God is greater. No matter how difficult things may be, you can always run to God. He is waiting and ready and He wants your family to be successful. Proverbs 3:6 (TLB) says, “In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.” God loves you, and He loves your family. He is able to restore what may be broken and heal what may be hurt, but we must put Him first.Today, let’s make a decision to be people focused on Christ and who put Him first. Commit to pray, fast, and believe God not only for your own family but also for other families in your life. Fight for your family! Don’t let Satan derail what God wants to do with and in your family.
