Glean, Sow, and Reap—Part 3

One day Naomi said to Ruth, “My daughter, it’s time that I found a permanent home for you, so that you will be provided for.” –Ruth 3:1 NLT

Eventually, God brought Ruth and Boaz together. When they wedded, Boaz became Ruth’s redeemer. Likewise, when you receive Jesus into your heart, He becomes your Redeemer. When Christ steps into the field of your life, He’ll snatch you from dangerous places and help you with whatever you’re facing. He will lead you to greener pastures where you can glean, sow, and reap, like Ruth and Naomi did. God will establish, provide, and protect you where you live and work. In due season, you’ll embrace the fullness of all God has in store for you on earth and in eternity. “Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest” (Psalm 126:5-6 NLT). For those who have been blessed by God, be watchful of who He brings into your life. Never underestimate sowing into someone’s life, especially when it is filling a need, leading them closer to Christ, or helping them reach their God-given destiny.

prayer focuses

Thank the Lord for being your Redeemer and for leading you to greener pastures where you can glean, sow, and harvest.

As you read Ruth chapters 3 and 4, ask God to reveal His personal message to you.
