Have you made plans that haven’t worked out? Something always seems to happen that you have no control over. There are many detours in life, but sometimes those detours turn out better than you first thought possible. In the end, God’s plan is always the best option. He sees the whole picture, not only your current story but your entire future. God knows the bigger plan and purpose for our current situation when we don’t. It’s been said, “We see down the street, but God not only sees down the street but around the corner as well.” God is God, and we know His plans are different from ours. Those plans may not happen according to our timing though, yet He always knows what is ahead for us. It is our job to trust Him and His infinite wisdom. As Jeremiah 29:11 says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” So when our plans change, let’s wait on God to reveal His outcome.
