He has Conquered

Don’t weep. Look—the Lion from the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David’s Tree, has conquered.  –Revelation 5:5 MSG

There are many names in the Bible that refer to Jesus Christ—Advocate, Lamb of God, the Resurrection, Lord of lords, Man of Sorrows, and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah to name a few. They are all powerful and beautiful names, but the name that stands out though is the Lion of the tribe of Judah. When Jesus came to earth, He came as a lamb—docile, meek, a servant, the Redeemer for all of humanity, and the Man of Sorrows. But when He comes in His second coming, He will come as a powerful roaring Lion. He will lead His army that will win the battle of all battles. He will conquer the adversary (Satan) once and for all. He will lead us all into victory with a strong arm, for we will be part of that army. So Church, rejoice and fear not for we have the Lion of the tribe of Judah with us always, yes even now. We will, together with Jesus as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, enter into eternity in victory where there will be no more tears or pain. Hallelujah!
