Jesus’ Lost Sheep – Part One

Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home…. –Luke 15:4-6 NIV

Have you been feeling like a lost lamb who’s been wandering around in the wilderness? If so, perhaps Jesus might speak something like this to you…Hello My wandering lamb,I’m so delighted to have found you today! I’ve missed you since you roamed away from the fold. I know you’re lost, drifting around in the wilderness of life. I hear your murmuring from Heaven and have been bottling your tears. Day-to-day I’ve been trying to capture your attention, but you haven’t noticed My caring hand swaying your way nor My Spirit prompting you to turn back to the sheepfold.Today, I deliberately sought after you, hoping you would follow Me back to the pastures where you belong. In fact, I left many other sheep to come looking for you. Nevertheless, you know I’m the gentle Shepherd who will not force you to return. I’m not behind you with a guiding rod. I’m beside and before you, guiding you back from your wilderness adventure. My Word will be a light to your feet, and My ways will lead you along the path back to where you belong. To Be Continued…
