And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow… –Romans 8:38 NLT
You may run across at least one every day—someone with a bad attitude. He is like a rain cloud in action: You wait for the explosion of the thunder and brace for the inevitable mud you must walk through. Your encounter with him could be good or bad, depending on how you look at it.Abraham Lincoln posed a great question, “Should we complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses?” When you are confronted with someone having a bad day or an “attack” of attitude, it may be a golden opportunity for you to emulate Jesus’ attitude and walk in His caring footsteps, even if only for a moment.Offer encouragement, and perhaps you will light up that person’s day. If possible, pray with him. If not, pray for him. Whether he knows Jesus or not, the Lord’s love will have an impact. Send out the invitation to come in from the rain, allowing the “Son” to shine!
Ask God to help you make Jesus the focus of your walk when you experience someone who is having a “bad” day.
Ask God to give you boldness to share His love.
