Prayer & Fast - Day 21

Psalm 103:1-5, 22 (NLT)

“Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise His holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things He does for me. He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! Praise the Lord, everything He has created, everything in all His Kingdom. Let all that I am praise the Lord.” (Psalm 103:1-5, 22, NLT)For the past 21 days, you have focused your attention fully on Jesus. How are you different today than on day 1? How has the Spirit spoken to you? Now what? Share your journey and stories of transformation with one another! Let our testimonies encourage one another! Make a plan that will help you follow through on what the Lord has taught you. Continue to pursue Him with your whole heart. Align your calendar to reflect Him having first place in your life. Pray. Stay in close communication with the Father, share what’s on your heart, and be a good listener! Be expectant. “. . . being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Phil 1:6) Stay connected. “I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” (Ps 122:1).

Take some time to reflect on this passage and the past 21 days.

Worship and journal your own psalm of praise and thanksgiving. Prayer Father, help us to deeply know and live in the fullness of this one WHO IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN ALL WE ASK OR IMAGINE, ACCORDING TO HIS POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN US, TO HIM BE GLORY IN THE CHURCH AND IN CHRIST JESUS THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATIONS, FOREVER AND EVER! AMEN.

Bayside Community Church

At the beginning of each year, as a church, we set aside time for prayer and fasting. We believe God deserves our full attention and our best. So, before we fill our calendars for the year, we want to listen.  We say with Samuel, “Speak Lord, for your servant is listening”. (1 Sam 3:9)

These daily readings are collection of thoughts and scripture to use as prompts to invite you to dig deeper - to listen and lean in. Use the scriptures as a springboard to explore further. Consider praying through the scriptures given and let the Word of God speak.

We are praying that you will hear from God in personal and powerful ways over the next 14 days and beyond!
