Everything we have, we received from God—all of our gifts, blessings, wisdom, and knowledge come from God. He is the Great Provider, Jehovah Jireh. His grace is adequate for all our needs. Even knowing all this, how many times have we looked to something else as the provider of our needs and our source of blessing, when He alone is the Source? Every good and perfect gift comes from above, from Jehovah Jireh who provides for us all. Let’s take a moment right now and thank God for being our Provider. “Father God, You are the only Source I can rely on. No one else has control over my life. Thank You, Father, for taking care of everything I might ever need with my finances, health, food, and shelter. I know that everything in my life ultimately comes from You. I am choosing today to thank You for everything in my life—even the difficult trials that will strengthen me and draw me closer to You, my Great Provider. While my timing might not be Your timing, I trust You are always looking out for me and taking care of me. Amen.”
