Sometimes life will throw us a “curveball.” Depending on where we are in life, we might be able to dodge that curve ball; but, sometimes we may not. That curve ball can hit us smack dab between the eyes, bringing us down to a place of hopelessness and despair. My friend, don’t allow hopelessness and despair to overtake you.Know that our God has told us, “…I will never leave you or forsake you” (Joshua 1:5 NIV). He tells us, “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’” (Isaiah 41:13 NKJV). Cling to these words with all your heart and might, for these are promises from God for you and for me. It doesn’t matter what situation you find yourself in at this precise moment. He has told you that He will “restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.” Get up and dust yourself off from all that is keeping you down. Raise your head high for you are a child of God Most High, and He will give you complete restoration.
