What to Pray

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. –Psalm 19:14 ESV

Did you know that Psalm 23 is a great prayer? Why not pray His Word?Thank You, Lord of Heaven’s armies, for being my shepherd. Thank You that I lack nothing; for “no good thing (do You) withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11 NKJV). You make me lie down in rich, green, fertile pastures. You lead me, rather than driving me, beside peaceful waters. You refresh my soul, my mind, my will, and my emotions. You guide me along right paths as I follow your voice.Even though I may be walking through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. You’ve not given me the spirit of fear; You’ve given me the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (see 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV). Your Word and Your discipline comfort me continually. You prepare a banquet for me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint me with the Holy Spirit and give me joy. My life overflows with Your grace and mercy. Your goodness follows me as I blaze a path of love for others. One day I will dwell in Your house forever. Thank You, Father. Amen
