With You

...Be sure of this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world. –Matthew 28:20 TLB

Jesus experienced every negative emotion, sickness, pain, and weakness. He knows and understands physical and mental hurt. In His greatest time of need, every friend abandoned Him. He felt the pain of rejection. He experienced loneliness. But Jesus didn’t cave. He didn’t quit. Jesus conquered every negative anything you face on this earth, and promises this: “I am with you always.”“With” means to be so close as to be joined and made one. It has the idea of favor, friendship, to be beside, in, and for. When God promises to be with you, He’s not just hanging around doing nothing. It means He is united and joined to you. He has taken your side to help you overcome and win in every situation no matter how long it takes. He will never leave you. Because He’s with you, He is also for you. And if God is for you then who or what can be against you?Jesus is an ever-present help in time of need. He supports and strengthens you. He fights for you against the unseen forces in the unseen realm. He is the Friend who sticks by you to the end. Today He takes your hand and whispers, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here to help you.” And that’s a promise.
