Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. –Psalm 27:10 NIV
Even Jesus, who is God in the flesh, at one time cried out, “My God, My God why have you forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34 NIV). Sometimes, you may feel as though the Lord has abandoned you. However, it is essential that you trust Him, even in your darkest moments. Stand firmly on His promises, knowing there is purpose for every experience in your life. Trust in Him and knowthat He loves you. “And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him…” (Romans 8:28 NIV).Never stop praying, and never stop pouring your heart out to Him, no matter what storm you may be facing. God loves you. In fact, James 1:2-4 (NIV) instructs you to “consider it pure joy…whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance...so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” So be strong and be courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged. The Lord, our God, is with you wherever you go. Be satisfied with what you have. In 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLV), the Lord says, “I am all you need.” You are not alone. The Lord is saying, “I’ve got this. Trust Me.”
Ask God to help you to be strong and courageous in whatever you face today.
Thank God for being all you need.
