Your Place of Prayer

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. –Matthew 6:6 NKJV

Making prayer a priority is vitally important in our life. You need to find a place to meet with God daily, in order to map out your plans for the day and get instruction from your heavenly Father. Ask Him to provide a place for you to do this.In your private place, your prayer and worship will be focused exclusively on God. You will also need to set aside time each day to spend with the Lord. Each person’s best time and place is unique. Perhaps you could wake up early to spend time with God on your patio, talk to the Lord on the way to work, set aside time for God during lunch, or even pray while washing the dishes. The Lord knows your heart and what you need daily. If you are in the midst of a difficult time, remember most battles are fought on your knees. Spending time in prayer and worship is the best way to leverage your day. God loves when you make Him your first priority each day and when you “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV).

Thank the Lord for allowing you to come into His presence.

Pray the Lord will help you find the perfect time and place to meet with Him each day.
